You know how great a perfectly sweetened Chai tastes, right? This Hot Spiced Tea recipe takes it up 5 notches! Pineapple, orange and lemon juices plus mulling spices. Awesome!

Hot Spiced Tea

 6 Cinnamon spice or chai tea bags
 1 cup Granulated sugar
 2 tbsp Whole cloves or mulling spices
 2 Cinnamon sticks
 1 cup Pineapple juice
 1 cup Orange juice
 ½ cup Lemon juice

Collect half a dozen tea bags of cinnamon spice or chai tea to dunk in a large pot of boiling water. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes, then remove the bags.

Reduce the heat and mingle the tepid tea with sugar, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.

Simmer and stir the concoction for about 10 minutes until the mixture is fragrant and the sugar is completely melted.

Strain the spice blend from the tea and mix in the three juices. If you’re in a warmer climate, serve the tea cold atop a bed of ice.
